  1. Miss R.

    Hey everyone!

I started my new school, Solanco, today. I am in fifth grade. The students are really nice and welcoming. I hope your day went well because I know that things must have been stirred up. I talked to Megan M. and she said she was not there today either. I can’t wait to see all of you again. Missing Warwick :(

P.S- I better hear good reports from Mrs. Morris and Mrs. Croyle about you! Don’t forget to practice your greetings and good manners.

  2. Casey Perkins

Hello Mrs. Morris. My name is Casey Perkins and I graduated from Illinois State University on Saturday. I was recently offered a job in a life skills classroom at Knoxville High School in Knoxville Illinois. I am extremely excited about the opportunity that will begin in the 2012-2013 school year. The program will be brand new and a curriculum will be offered. I was looking at your great resources and have lots of ideas running through my head. I was wondering if there are any resources and/or tips that you could offer to a first year teacher going into a new program.
Thanks a bunch! I look forward to hearing from you.

  3. Sarah Meyers

Hi Mrs. Morris. My name is Sarah Meyers and I too just graduated and was offered a position in high school life skills. I came across your website and absolutely fell in love!! I am so excited to start my new teaching career and change the lives of all my students, just as I see you have. I, like Casey Perkins above, was just wondering if their was any advice or resources you had to offer a new first year teacher, especially for the first week of school. Thank you so much for your time!!
