Shopping and Spaghetti

We have been busy working on such an assortment of skills the last several weeks.

We made a delicious spaghetti lunch last week.  The students did such a great job of cutting up veggies to make a great salad, they boiled water for spaghetti and learned how to use a strainer/colander.  They used vegetable peelers, cutting boards, knives, a ladle, the microwave, oven mitts and numerous other kitchen related items to prepare the meal.  Each student also set their own place setting, a skill they are all quite accomplished at.

It was quite a feast!!!!!

Pictures to come from our shopping trip to Weiser’s Market!

Technical Problems……Finally we’re Back!

Students made scrambled eggs and fried or over-easy eggs, set their place setting and served each other the food. We also focused on using good manners while eating!
